The annual Recofloor promotion will take place in September this year, offering flooring contractors who recycle their waste vinyl flooring through Altro and Polyflor’s scheme another opportunity to win an ‘unforgettable experience’ with a Red Letter Days gift card.
Every flooring company raising a Recofloor collection throughout September will be entered into a draw with a chance to win one of three £100 Red Letter Days gift cards. The prizes will be offered to the first three names chosen at random and the draw is open to new and existing Recofloor members who raise a collection during September 2018, from 3rd-28th.
Recofloor’s Project Officer Joe Gardner said: “Our popular Recofloor promotion coincides with our ninth birthday and again looks set to attract much attention from both existing members and new companies.
“Having surpassed the 4,000-tonne mark in May, we’re hoping as many members as possible will take part and contribute to what could be a bumper month! We look forward to welcoming you; just phone or email us to register.”
Since its launch in 2009, more than 4,000 tonnes of waste vinyl flooring has been recycled through Recofloor. This total equates to 1,314,217m2 of flooring – enough to make 8,888,888 World Cup footballs.
Recofloor members can save up to 70% on disposal costs compared to landfill and reduce the environmental impact of waste vinyl flooring material by recycling it. For contractors, the minimum collection requirement is two full bulk bags and for distributors, two full blue bins. All collections must be booked in by 5pm on Friday 28th September 2018. Collections do not have to be completed in September.
Names will be entered into a prize draw and three winners will be chosen at random on Monday 1st October 2018. The winners (one prize per company) will be notified and details will be provided on the Recofloor website.
