As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting sales for independent retailers, Verona has launched a new augmented reality (AR) room visualiser, InSitu. A highly effective selling tool, InSitu is set to transform the way in which consumers buy tiles, supporting them in making more confident wall and floor design choices.
Designed to complement Verona’s extensive product range and supporting POS materials, InSitu has been developed in conjunction with leading visualisation specialists to provide retailers with an additional sales tool. Through harnessing the power of modern technology, InSitu will enhance the tile buying journey for retailers and their customers alike.
Optimised to work on any device including mobiles and desktops, users can upload a photo of their room and experiment with various designs and layouts to see what suits their space. There is also the option to choose from a selection of stylised room sets for those who don’t want to upload their own image. The final look can then be emailed or printed and sent to a local retailer to streamline the buying process and drive more conversions.
There are currently around 200 products to choose from within the InSitu tool, with the rest of the portfolio set to be added in the coming months.
Jayne Adamson, Marketing Manager at Verona, commented: “With the industry becoming more digitally driven, now is the time to invest in a room visualiser, offering a clever alternative to traditional tile samples.
“We plan to start small as we gather feedback, but we will soon be rolling this out to its full capacity with our entire product collection to ensure it’s a successful tool for our customers. With InSitu, visons are made a reality and retailers will be able to give their customers the confidence to find the perfect tile for their space.”
