The Flooring Show 2023 exceeded pre-pandemic visitor numbers, attracting 3,160 buyers over the three days of the exhibition. The event took place at the Harrogate Convention Centre on 17-19 September and saw buyers from a stellar line-up of national and independent retailers, including Tapi, Carpetright, Wickes, ScS, and B&Q.
The national reach of The Flooring Show has never been more evident, with an increase in visitors from all regions of the UK. Most notably, the exhibition saw an 85% increase in visitors from the East of England, as well as a 49% rise in visitors from the South East, South West and West Midlands.
There was also a 13% increase in the number of suppliers exhibiting at The Flooring Show, with 75% already choosing to rebook their involvement for the following year. Event Director Alex Butler commented “this year’s high rebook is testament to how well The Flooring Show performs for the industry, with the average exhibitor expecting to take orders of £155,000 as a result of the exhibition”.
With demand higher than it’s ever been for stands, the organisers of The Flooring Show are opening Hall Q which will allow next year’s show to grow by a further 20%. The market leading exhibition returns to Harrogate on 15-17 September 2024.
