Designer Contracts has added four carpet collections – including its first ever 100% recycled polypropylene – and a new click-LVT range with built-in underlay to its comprehensive portfolio of floorcoverings.
Eco-Glade is a stain resistant, two-ply carpet made using 100% recycled polypropylene yarn. Rapture and Cleveland are aimed at the growing market for easy-clean carpets, offering ‘better and best’ options in 100% stain resistant polypropylene. Hampstead Classic and Supreme offer a robust heavy-duty domestic carpet in 80/10/10 pure new wool while Alpha is a new LVT range suitable for heavy commercial use.
Eco-Glade caters for the growing number of people looking for carpets with eco-credentials, style and practical benefits. Encompassing a choice of 10 modern, plain shades it comes in 4m and 5m widths and is bleach cleanable.
Both Rapture and Cleveland are two-ply twists which come in 4m and 5m widths and a choice of 10 contemporary colourways.
Rapture is an affordable tenth gauge collection finished in a two-ply yarn for extra resilience. Bleach cleanable and suitable for use with underfloor heating, it comes in five neutral tones (Heaven, Radiance, Bliss, Delight and Joy) and five greys.
Cleveland brings a more luxurious touch to the table while still offering all the practicality of the Rapture range. A collection with something to suit all tastes, the palette of four neutral shades and five greys also offers a fashionable deep blue, Hudson.
The new Hampstead Classic (32oz) and Supreme (40oz) tufted cut pile twists come in a range of plains and heathers in 12 fashionable shades. Manufactured in the UK they are available in four and five metre widths and offer a durable, crafted blend of 80% wool, 10% tuftbond and 10% polypropylene quality carpet option.
Combining style with durability and performance, Alpha comprises four stone tile and eight wood plank designs. Using a patented Uniclic click system which allows for easy installation, the collection is 100% resistant to surface moisture and is manufactured with a 1mm built in underlay.
Louise Walters, Designer Contracts commercial director, said: “As well as becoming much more eco-conscious, we know that times are tough for many people given all the cost-of-living pressures. With this in mind we are constantly adapting and updating our portfolio to reflect what’s happening in the market. Adding a 100% recycled option to our offer, along with good value, practical carpet collections and a new LVT range has been an important move for us.”
