Designed around the Belgian brand’s mix&match principle, the new First collection features five designs - First Forward, First Straightline, First Streamline, First Decode and First Define - that can all be used on their own or in conjunction to create unique layouts. The First collection can also be used alongside selected colours from other mix&match carpet tiles.
As the foundation of the collection, First Forward is available in a wide range of 27 colours, making it a great field carpet tile for a broad range of interiors. The contrasting pinstripe of First Straightline comes in 22 combinations, while the knit-like First Streamline shows off 14 combinations from classy neutral through to playful and upbeat. In First Decode and First Define, projects can enjoy 11 colours that bring a flowing design.
One of the first to benefit modulyss’ new in-house yarn, the collection demonstrates the benefits in exacting control of every aspect of a carpet tile’s production. A hardwearing, solution-dyed nylon for lasting stain and fade-resistance, the new yarn meets all the criteria expected of a carpet tile for busy environments. It also provides colours that are unique to modulyss and consistent between batches, while minimising the impact of transporting palettes from external manufacturers.
Using the 70% recycled content back2back backing, the First collection delivers exceptional dimensional stability and achieves a Class 33 Heavy Commercial Use wear rating. With a total 50% recycled content by weight, the First collection can contribute towards credits for LEED and is certified by BRE for BREEAM projects, making it suitable for projects looking for a carpet tile with proven sustainable credentials.
