The Academy for Excellence in Flooring is continuing its ongoing partnership with the UK’s largest flooring retailer, Carpetright, through the introduction of the Hard Flooring Assessments qualification.
Established to ensure that Carpetright accredited fitters are trained to the highest standards and beginning this September, the programme will see fitters undertake a series of sessions in practical tasks and theoretical learning in the installation of wood, laminate and LVT floors.
Lee Thompson, procurement and technical manager, Academy for Excellence in Flooring, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Carpetright on the launch of its Hard Flooring Assessments programme. It’s clear that Carpetright has recognised our position as one of the country’s foremost hard flooring training centres and we look forward to working with it to build up the skills of its installers.”
