To support contractors in the surface preparation industry across Europe, surface preparation equipment manufacturer, National Flooring Equipment, has appointed Mr Claude Besson as its French country manager. Claude will use his expertise in the construction industry to support National Flooring Equipment’s growth across France. He will also use his experience to develop the company’s service offering.
Claude has more than three decades of experience in the construction industry, particularly in offering capital equipment for surface preparation. In previous roles, he successfully developed each company and its services to best support the dealers, the rental partners and eventually the end users.
Claude understands the value drivers of this industry and plans to bring this expertise to National Flooring Equipment, helping the company provide more of its knowledge and bespoke equipment to customers in Europe and around the world.
“There is a common misconception that the construction industry is too conservative and only involves low level, hard labour on dirty and unsafe construction sites,” explains Claude. “This is totally wrong and doesn’t help to attract the best talented people. To change this opinion, we need to be proactive, create awareness, educate the market and help contractors, dealers and rental partners to work smarter with innovative solutions, equipment and services available to them at National Flooring Equipment.
